Following up on the Uber tragedy… showing the importance of system training in AI… it appears that the woman in question was classified as a false positive by the system. For a classification system, it would appear that Uber’s system clearly needs more work, specifically ‘neural net training’, before it’s let loose on the roads… maybe in VR… or some other, safer, environment.
